Everyone has that restaurant they always say they're going to try one day but never quite recall when deciding where to eat out. Well that was me about two years ago. I had heard about all of these great restaurants in the Portland Oregon area. When asked the question “where do you want to go to dinner?” I could only think of about five restaurants to chose from. So of course thats where I always went. They were great but I like to try new things. So I made my New Years resolution for 2013 to finally try all those restaurants I kept hearing about. To be sure I didn't forget the names, I started a list. It is composed of recommendations and some research of the best places to eat in Portland. Although I haven’t been to all of them, I am slowly working my way through. I can’t confirm that they are all list worthy but I have yet to encounter one that isn’t. To be list worthy the restaurant must be good enough to both recommend to others and to want to go back. My list has a variety of styles of restaurants. It ranges from a simple whole-in-the-wall place to some of the fanciest restaurants. Hopefully you can find one you like. Enjoy!
